This is my personal Cessna Cardinal N177CJ S/N 0018. I have just completed complete a total mechanical restoration. Including engine overhaul, landing gear overhaul and interior replacement.
I purchased it as a project airplane with a worn out engine. The following pages document the process from start to finish. I utilized the Cardinal Flyers online website at www.cardinalflyers.com for technical direction and assistance with this project. It is a fantastic website, as they document all of the common cardinal issues.
For those of you wondering, I am an A&P mechanic and I graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. So, I am qualified to do this type of work. The link to my email address is at the bottom of each page.

First day with my new airplane.
One week later...

A Year and a half (and one shattered arm) later, she’s ready to go!
